Baked Oats

Ingredients

(1 Serving)

  • 40g oats of your choice
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg (vegan alternative 1 tbsp chia + 3 tbsp water, let this sit for 5-10 mins to gel)
  • 1 tbsp fat-free natural yoghurt (Plant-based alternative is fine)
  • 40ml milk of your choice

Optional additions: Honey, sugar, sweetener, maple syrup or agave to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan).
  2. Mix all ingredients until combined; it should be like a thick cake mixture consistency.
  3. Pour into a greased ramekin or small baking dish.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the oven at 180, or air fryer for 15 – 20 minutes, until set.
  5. Let cool slightly, then enjoy warm!
